TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION FOR WOMEN  AND PARTICULARLY CHINESE WOMEN OR FOR THOSE PERSONS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, POVERTY OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH A VIEW TO IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE;3. TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN CHINESE TRADITIONAL CULTURE.

**Activities:** The Gloucestershire Chinese Womens Guild is the only organisation that cares for most of the Chinese community in Gloucestershire. Our staff carry out full advocacy, interpreting, filling official documents such as welfare benefits forms and local authorities.
