The Society organised fundraising educational geology field trips, to Iceland and locally. There were two fundraising social events: an Xmas Party and Annual Dinner. The Trustees are aware of, and follow, the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit. The large sum held in reserve in the Cambridge Building Society was due to a very large donation many years ago. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordan￿ with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts Ca￿led out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
