Officers: As shown above Bankers: TSB, 19 Market Square, Winslow MK18 3AD Independent Examlner: Charitable Objects: Mrs Sara Campbell The objects of the trust shall be to advance the education of the pupils of East Claydon C of E School by providing or assisting in the provlsion of educational, recreational and other charltable facilities in augmentstion of such facilities financed by the local education authority or the department for education (DFE). Area of Benefit: The area of benefit is determined as East Claydon Buckinghamshire.
Report of the Trustees on the Actlvlty of the Charlty The trustees present the independently examined statement of income and expendlture and balance sheet of the charity, in accordance with the adopted accounting policy, for the year ended 31 March 2024. The Trustees met once during the financlal year. The financial position is reviewed by the Governing Body through the accounts and financlal summaries presented to the Finance Committee. During the year a number of educational trips were arranged for the benefit of pupils. These were largely self-funding through voluntary parental contributions. They included varlous day trlps to museums and environmental study centres. Through fundraising events, the charity was able to provide fun days for the children and provide support to develop the sensory garden. Funds for the provlsion of wrap around and preschool places were received into the charity a'ccount from fee paying parents. These funds were transferred into the'school budget as required by the finanrlal pollcles of the school. Trustees Responslbllltleg The Trustees are requlred to prepare.Financial Statements for each financial year whlch gives a true and fair view of the Statè of affairs of the trust and of the surplus or deficit for that period. In preparing those Financial Statements, the Trustees are requlred to: Select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently Make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent State whether applicable accounting standards have been followed, subject to anv material departures dlsc105ed and explained in the Financial Statements. Prepare the Financial Statements on the going basis unless it 15 inappropriate to presume that the Trust will continue. The Trustees are responsible for Keeping proper accounting records whlch disclose wlth reasonable accurary at any .time the financial position of the Trust.
