PML undertakes scientifically excellent research that generates greater understanding of the marine environment, the threats it faces, and its relationship with society. PML uses this greater understanding to effect demonstrable change in the way in which the marine environment is appreciated, managed, protected and valued. PML activities are aimed at supporting a sustainable ocean for society.
Objects: To Carry Out Research In Environmental Science And Technology Including Marine And Estuarine Environmental Science And Technology, And Disseminate Results Of Such Research And Data And Ideas Generated In The Course Of Or In Connection With Such Research For The Benefit Of The Public And To Advance Public Education In The Principles And Practice Of Such Science And Technology.
