## THE FRIENDS OF ST ANDREW’S SCHOOL SOCIETY

## ANNUAL REPORT 2024/25

Our main fundraising this year was after a request from our Headteacher. We are an old Victorian school, the building, electrical, lighting and heating systems need updating/replacing urgently. As a church school we need to find a 10% contribution for any such works. The response was amazing and we were able to commit to the first stage of the work. These improvements will benefit the staff and pupils at St Andrew’s and will also improve our energy efficiency.

Our summer fair was very successful and is something we are hoping to stage every year. We had members of our church community involved as well as staff, pupils, parents/carers and governors. It was a lovely, family-orientated community event.

To improve maths learning, we were able to fund school-wide resources for each year group.

We were also very grateful to receive a legacy.
