Great Dalby Preschool Committee AGM 2025

Chairs Report:
Jay gave an outline of the Preschool and explained to the parents/ carers attending the role of the committee and the committee members and stressed that we need committee members on board to ensure the smooth running of the Preschool.
All of the parents / carers who attended were interested in join ging the committee.
Jay gave out form to complete so DBS checks could be done and the formal applications to join the committee could take place.
The preschool wants to keep the numbers high and have been looking at ways to help get more people enrolled.
We had discussions about doing more fundraising to help raise more funds for the Preschool.
Because of the work involved and the lack of people to help we were not planning on having a Christmas Fayre. Luckily the parents / carers stepped in and said we should hold a Christmas Fayre and this began to be organised.
We will continue with Bag2School fundraising which adds to the fundraising pot and helps the environment with recycling clothing that is no longer needed.
Hopefully the year ahead will continue to be a positive one for the Preschool and we can build on the fundraising success of the past year to help with the continued improvement of what Great Dalby preschool has to offer.

Rhea told us that the children were all settling in well and that the preschool is running smoothly. The team are working well together and looking forward to the year ahead with no restrictions.
