**Activities:** Promote research into the causes, effects and possible cures of meningitis and to ensure the publication of the useful results for the public benefit; to advance education by offering an annual award to medical enterance students at Chigwell school; to the advancement of education and relief of poverty of orphans and other deserving individuals living in Sri-Lanka.
