Trustee meetings are still being held digitally. So far Gwen has avoided getting COVID 19 and the focus is on keeping it that way due to the direct impact it would have on the charity should Gwen become ill.
Volunteer numbers have remained the same and there have been no changes. Restrictions on the number of volunteers in the building at one time remain the same. Volunteers are requested to stay at home if unwell or have been in contact with someone with COVID. Appropriate PPE is provided where necessary.
Trustees are looking into further ways to fundraise. We have signed up for schemes such as Easy Fundraising and Amazon Smiles which allows supporters to raise donations as they shop online. With Covid restrictions being lifted we are also looking into auctions for our larger items that we currently have stored in the attic.
Focus remains on those most in need (neglect cases, medical need, rehabilitation etc). Any animals that are re-homed through ourselves are to previous adopters or those recommended by our vets.
