The Woodland Park is an area of six acres of ancient woodland in Bursledon Hampshire. It lies within the Old Bursledon Conservation area and Special Policy area and forms part of an SSI for Nature Conservation. As well as providing a useful link in the green network, the footpath through the Woodland provides a safe walking route from Pilands Wood, a large local authority housing estate, to Old Bursledon, Bursledon Primary School, Village Hall and Recreation ground. The route through the Woodland is popular with parents walking children to schoo! as well as dog walkers and others wishing to access faclities in Bursledon. The site is managed by the Trustees. Meetings are held every three months to review and plan the work needed for the maintenance of the trees and paths on the site. Working parties are held on site each month during the summer months to undertake maintenance and repairs to paths. Local volunteers and community groups help with these activities. Skilled workers are employed to undertake felling or other necessary work on trees. Dates of Working Parties are advertised on line to encourage as much community participation as possible. Recruitment of additional Trustees remains a priority.

The Trust successfully applied for a grant from Eastleigh Borough Council to fund the replacement of the two wooden bridges across the stream and the construction of an all weather path through the Woodland All work was completed by Vitaplay in September 2024. The work has transformed the site making it accessible throughout the year. In addition local volunteers distribute a bi-monthly magazine that raises £30 every two months in order to fund additional expenses such as the annual insurance and purchase of necessary materials. No additionat funds are held and the majority of the work is undertaken on a voluntary basis.
