**Objects:** (A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN ORCHESTRAL MUSIC AND IN PARTICULAR SUCH MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC WHO ARE CIVIL SERVANTS OR WORK OTHERWISE IN THE PUBLIC SERVICE; AND (B) TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF LONDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS BY PROVIDING AND MAKING AVAILABLE FACILITIES FOR THE APPRECIATION, STUDY, REHEARSAL AND PERFORMANCE OF ORCHESTRAL MUSIC.

**Activities:** Amateur orchestra based in London, with strong civil service membership. Gives at least three concerts a year.
