Nawton and Beadlam Millennium Wildlife Garden was created as a joint village project to mark the year 2000. A wildlife garden was created on a donated piece of land. The garden includes a large pond, woodland area and a wide selction of plants native to North Yorkshire. The garden is freely accessible to the public. The garden is managed and maintained by a team of local volunteers.

Objects: To Conserve And Enhance The Natural Beauty And Amenity Of Nawton And Beadlam Millennium Wildlife Garden Including Flora And Fauna Natural To IT, Or As May Be Compatible Introduced Thereto And To Provide Or Assist In The Provision Of Facilities For The Advancement Of Education, Recreation Or Other Leisure Activities In The Interests Of Social Welfare With A View To Improving The Conditions Of Life For The Benefit Of The Public.
