Trustees Report - 14th January 2025

Our Charity's name is The Community Centre at Studley Green.

Our address is Wycombe Road, Studley Green, HIGH WYCOMBE, Buckinghamshire HP14 3UY.

Our Charity Number is 1089525.

We have six trustees Susan Wilkins, Angela McTavish, Nicholas Gillott, Edward Bayly, Margaret Wilcock and Lesley North.

Our Charities objectives are that the Community Centre should be for the use of the inhabitants of the wards of Studley Green, Horsleys Green, Beacon’s Bottom, Water End and Bigmore End in the Parish of Stokenchurch, Buckinghamshire. Without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupations.

The regular users of the hall include: monthly coffee morning, weekly toddler group, weekly concert band practise, High Wycombe Model plane club, three different weekly art groups, weekly crochet club, weekly Alcoholics Anonymous Group, weekly Christian Fellowship group, weekly yoga class, Calligraphy workshop, weekly 7th Day Adventists, Morris Dancers, several weekly fitness classes and weekly pilates classes. The facility is also used by inhabitants of the wards and surrounding areas for parties, meetings, training and conferences.

Money is raised to maintain the hall by fundraising events and from hiring the hall to regular hirers and occasional hirers and for certain projects we may apply for a grant. We continue to reinvest every penny we raise maintaining and improving the centre for current and future hirers and the community. In the last year we have had both male and female toilets refurbished, replaced the flooring and painted the entrance way. All five radiators in the main hall have been replaced, the walls have been painted and the floor deeply cleaned and re varnished. The bar room has received a face lift and now looks warm, cosy and inviting. Our meeting room has also had a new coat of paint. Lastly, the entrance and exit barriers for the car park have had a refresh.

The charity does not have any debt.
