REPORT ON THE ACTIVITIES OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF RIPON

The year ended 30[th] June 2022 represented a return to normality after the restrictions imposed by the Covid pandemic. We were thus able to run our major fundraising activity, the charity bike ride.

We closed the year having 50 members including 2 honorary members and I associate.

Our charity account received total donations £30,897 against total expenditure of £21,305. Our income comes from members of the public, largely local but some of our Bike ride income comes from a broader area. Our donations go to a mix of individuals who efforts were worthy of support and local, national and some international charities.

The benevolent account had income of £2,580 of which £2,038 was donations from members. £2,200 of this went to Rotary’s Foundation of which £600 was for the Polio Plus campaign.
