for a Murnber of years. In Ilne wlth ovr polloy of svpportlnq the loeal area w¢ opted to offer the Nursery to
the own#rs of the Hlppy Kldi Muriery.

We endeavoured to agree a $ettl¢M4nt for our loii but wlth no response. The new nursery waj able to
Itart In January and wai been a qr4at iveee81.
We entered the proee81 of seeklnq a settlement vla the 4rnall ¢lalrn8 ¢ourt prooeil in the reglon of
£1 0000.00 based on vnpaid rent and ¢oiti of elearlnq and el8anlnq th¢ prernisei for the new nursery.
When we eontaoted the agen¢y regardlng our elalrrt they iald they had no reeord of th1$. For a year we
presented evlden¢e of our appll¢atloYA and payrnent but they itlll replied they had no re¢ord of th1$.
Eventually we exhausted the eomplaints proeedure$ and went to a higher level. After thi8 we were
Informed thatwe had regl¥tered our ¢lairn but ai they had ftot re¢elved any reply f rorn thelr posted
lett¢n th8y had itru¢k it out. AS you may be aware post at that tlm was very dlffieult and we have
never re¢eived any letten from thern.

We did ask that ovr ¢lalm be rea¢tivat8d bvt were Informed that we would hav8 to apply again and pay an
additlonal fee. We are doing 80 at present but will eontlnue to rnanage the finanees on our prelent
financial situation.
You wlll note our losses deereased frofft £ I1419..46 to £147S20 whleh refieeted both our Illere￿8 I
In¢orne and the In¢r¢￿e In all the $erviee¥ and a¢tioM we have had over the year. As a eon18quenee we
have ral$ed our prl¢es In April 2025 to allow for thls.
