**Objects:** The objects of the Company shall be to protect, conserve and enhance, for public benefit, the natural aquatic environment and biodiversity of the catchment of the River Trent and promote understanding of sustainable approaches to water management in urban and rural area.

**Activities:** To preserve, protect and improve the rivers and streams of the Trent catchment and the biodiversity they support, by maintaining and improving water quality by reducing the impacts of rural and urban land use upon watercourses. Maintaining, improving and restoring the natural habitat and function of streams and rivers and their floodplains.
