Introduction
This annual report summarises the activities, achievements, and financial performance of The Little Budworth Charity for the year ended 31.12.2025. The report aims to provide transparency and accountability to our supporters, beneficiaries, and regulatory bodies.
Trustees’ report

Objectives and activities: This year the charity maintained its charitable donations, necessary works and repairs to the properties, as well as advice and guidance concerning the land.

Achievements and performance: Major projects have been completed including the tank replacement at Dodds House, roof work at Townfield Farm, and electrical and fire inspections.

Financial review: Consistent income and expenditure to previous years and healthy reserves in place. Initiated rent increase at Dodds House effective 1[st] April 2026 and have engaged Rachel Kirk to assist with a rent review at Townfield Farm.

Structure, governance, and management: The charity trustees meet twice yearly, and maintain communication throughout the year to discuss both day to day and larger decisions for all assets and the tenants / residents within our care.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 December 2025 .
- Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have examiner's statement come to my attention ~~(other than that disclosed below *)~~ in connection with the examination which gives me cause to believe that in, any material respect:
