The charity’s principal sources of funds (including any fundraising)	Para 1.47	The Trust was set up with a bequest from the late Donald Charles Broome who expressed the wish that it be used for the support of Scouting in the London Boroughs of Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Wandsworth. The Trust’s only income is from investment income and bank interest and Trustees do not seek to raise funds.
Investment policy and objectives including any social investment policy adopted	Para 1.46	The Trust’s investments are managed by an Independent Financial Advisor with the aim of maintaining capital whilst generating income to achieve the Trusts charitable purpose.
A description of the principal risks facing the charity	Para 1.46	None. A reduction in the value of or the income from investments would not stop Trustees from disbursing such income as they had. The Trust has financial procedures designed to minimise fraudulent activity on the part of Trustees or Treasurer.

Inde endent Examiner's Re ort to the Trust¢es of The Don Broome Scout Trust Independent examiner's report to the trustees of The Don Broome Scout Trust I report to the charity trustees on rny examination of the accounts of The Don Broome Scout Trust (the Trust) foi the year end¢d 31 December 2024. Responsibilities and basis of report As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts Ca￿led out under section 145 of the Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable DErections given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. Independent examiner's statement I have completed my examination. I confirn] that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act. or the a¢¢ounts do not accord with those records.
