**Objects:** 1) TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND FACILITIES CALCULATED TO REHABILITATE AND RELIEVE FROM THEIR DISABILITIES PERSONS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY AND WHO RESIDE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM OF GREAT BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND AND RECEIVING OR HAVE RECEIVED MEDICAL TREATMENT THERE.2) TO RELIEVE THE FAMILIES OF PERSONS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY.3) TO ENCOURAGE, PROVIDE AND SET UP SELF HELP GROUPS TO PROMOTE THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY.4) TO PROVIDE OR ARRANGE AFTER-CARE/COMMUNITY BASED SERVICES (FOLLOWING HOSPITAL DISCHARGE) FOR PERSONS WHO HAVE EXPERIENCED ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURY.5) TO PROVIDE AND FACILITATE THE PROVISION OF PERMANENT HOMES OR SHORT STAY HOSTELS FOR SUCH PERSONS AND/OR THEIR RELATIVES.

**Activities:** To promote understanding of all aspects of acquired brain injury and provide information, support and rehabilitation services for people with acquired brain injuries, their families and carers who live in the Black Country (the Metropolitan Boroughs of Walsall, Sandwell and Dudley and the City of Wolverhampton).
