SORP reference

charity’s work has made to

beneficiaries and any wider
benefits to society as a
whole.
Para 1.20 Despite challenging circumstances of
costly transport we attended and
provided support to a number of local
events in Tavistock and to events
elsewhere in the Devon & Cornwall
region. All these events raise money for
various charities as well providing
education and entertainment for the
visiting public.
Additionally, various visiting groups of
enthusiasts had organised visits to our
premises where stationary engines were
demonstrated, a road engine was in
steam and detailed brief on the products
of Robey of Lincoln and steam traction
were provided. Both the distant events
and events held at our ‘works’ are in line
with our status as an educational charity.
