Section D Achievements and performance

**Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

This financial year has, once again, been a difficult year for Robin Nursery School. The situation following COVID has meant that there have continued to be uncertainties and we have seen a dip in our number on roll for this academic year. Some parents chose to keep their children out of a nursery setting once following the restrictions.

During this financial year we have:

- Continued to use tapestry to communicate with parents and support families – this has been especially important during times of isolation for families. We have have used both Tapestry and Facebook to share activity ideas for families and staff have read stories to be shared with children

- Prepared children to successfully move on to the Village primary school and other local schools

- Planned activities which focus on child development and individualised learning, helping children to take the next steps in their learning journey
