RAMME - ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS WOMEN'S GROUP: Women's group is a very active part of Pakistan Community Centre. Women engage themselves in different attivities including cultural discussions and special programmes. This group is hugely popular and well attended. Apart from other activities they arrange celebrations and festivals and also they organise fund raising events in support of various charities whenever there is an unfortunate disaster/event. SENIOR CITIZEN SESSION: The main objective of this section is to bring Senior Citizen together on one platform to make them fell comfortable and to provide an opportunity for the elderly and vulnerable to talk to each other on different subjects and issues. The Centre provides them a secure and friendly environment and provides them with the newspapers, magazines and television facility with snacks. This Senior Citizen Session is held on every Friday in the Centre. ADEVICE SERVIC: A Citizen Advice Surgery held in Pakistan Community Centre on every Monday Morning to provide support to the community. This surgery is supervised by an experienced individual on voluntary basis. Every year hundreds of telephone calls are received and also people visit the Centre in person to seek advice on different subjects and issues. The Centre provides advice on issues like Passport, ID Cards, housing and social problems, letter writing and attestation of formal documents. COMMUNITY LUNCH: Every Friday, after Jummua prayers, community lunch is provided to the community members, free of charge. After prayers 45 to 50 people come to have their lunch. Every week different menu is available. This Is very much appreciated.

FUND RAISING EVENTS: We arrange fund raising events to collect money, food, wami clothes for the people who are affected by the natural disasters around the world whenever it is needed. SEMINARS, FUNCTIONS AND AWARENESS EVENTS: Events and awareness programmes are organised in Pakistan Centre to bring awareness in the community members regarding different illnesses and how to tackle them and their preventions. Also functions are organised on regular basis to celebrate special occasions. SERVICES ALL YEAR". Every year hundreds of telephone calls are re￿iVed and also people visit the Centre in person to seek advi￿ on different issues. The Centre provides advi￿ on issues like Passport, ID cards, housing and social problems, letter writing and the attestation of fomal documents. Apart from the above menfi'oned activities, in the past we had organised projects to provide awareness and advio on accommodation, healthy eats'ng and mental health. The main aim of our organisation is to provide a focal point for the community and a well informed team of workers and volUnt￿rS who keep in touch with all that is happening at national and local level. Apart from the above mentioned activities, Brent Council's Voluntary Sector Initiative Fund project is also been organised in Pakistan Community Centre to provide awareness and advice on accommodation, walking group, health eating, cooking, physical and mental health and parents groups to the community. The main aim of our organisation is to provide a focal point for the community and a well-informed team of workers who keep in touch with all that is happening at national and local level.
