We provide a play<br>environment which builds the<br>self-respect and confidence of<br>children and where children feel<br>safe, secure and free to<br>participate and have fun. **Summer playscheme was run over 4 weeks and 4 full days. We provide volunteer opportunities for young volunteers during all our sessions.**

**32 children and young people participated in staff recruitment sessions and playscheme planning.** 


**40 children and young people took part in our summer fundraising activities.** 

**Other highlights of this year include A boat trip up the Tawe and the kids learning about local history. This was an interactive talk so the kids were able to ask questions. It was a fabulous experience as the majority of our children had never been on a boat.** 




**We had 5 local bus trips to local parks and beaches giving children the chance to experience a wider range of play opportunities.** 

**And as we could not afford the buses on other occasions, we had 4 drop off and play sessions where we meet at other parks or beaches.** 

**The children also enjoyed regular walks to the local park and up kilvey hill community woods.**

During this year our main source<br>The charity’s principal  of funding has been various<br>sources of funds  Para 1.47 grants and donations including<br>(including any  winter of wellbeing, and Child<br>fundraising)  and Young People grants through<br>the city and county of Swansea.<br>The Parents and Children have<br>Managed to raise £12,000<br>through various events and<br>donations.<br>Bonymaen community centre has<br>also supported us during this<br>year by waiving our rent and<br>making a match fund donation of<br>£2500 to our sponsored save our<br>summer event.<br>The families and local community<br>raised almost £4000 towards the<br>save our summer appeal.<br>We had £2600 donated via the go<br>fund me appeal.<br>We also have support from east<br>side food bank.<br>All expenditure has supported the<br>provision of services and<br>activities which has allowed the<br>achievements listed above.<br>Investment policy and<br>objectives including any  Para 1.46<br>social investment policy<br>adopted<br>**----- End of picture text -----**<br>
