Over the period of the event the charity held the 'Re8cue Agility, in th8 main arena, plus had a main display and 8 Stand ￿ere attendeos ￿re able to meel Val and the leam. FSnanclally, thls year has been extremely busy for the charlty ¥*lth a large Increase in cash donations totallirvJ £128.761. Tumover for the period amounted to £165,983. The stv)p in Warfiryham EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system has proved to be successf ul ￿ryth sales increasing by 3% to £23,267. Staff ing the shop has been more settled Vlith a rngular team of volunteer5 belng led by the slK)p manager. Donations comSng into the shop increas￿1 significantly. so the charity attend￿1 several boot-f81rs brlrwJlng In an Income of £12(￿. A sonificwrt expense for the period incI￿led a marked incrpase In vet f ees, £26.71Y2 (pmious period. 2021-2022 total amounted to £10,236). The reason f or the Increase was due to expe￿1¥8 operatlons requlred for dogs as well as a general increase in vet fees. charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31 March 2023.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the
accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
(“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have
come to my attention in connection with the examination which gives me
cause to believe that in, any material respect:

the accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 130
of the Charities Act; or
•
the accounts did not accord with the accounting records; or
•
the accounts did not comply with the applicable requirements
concerning the form and content of accounts set out in the Charities
(Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement
that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter
considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection
with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in
order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
