CHAIRPERSON'S REPORT 2025
"A yoar of In$piring and supportlng our communlty: bulldlng bolonglng and opportunlty whgre It matters
most"
What continues to inspire me about Ihe Foundation is the detemiined mindset running through it and a shared desir8
to aEways want to do better. In a year that has been tough for so many. Ihat mindset ha5 really mattered. Reaching
more than 56.000 participants across 11,400 sessions is something lo be incredibly proud of, but what sits behind
those numbers Is what is really woth celebrating.
The trust that's been buitt. the conslslency of showng up, and the strength of the relationships across Norfolk is better
than ever. Being recognised as Norwich City's Community Club of the Year was a brilliant mment both as an
accolade. and as a refieclion of the connection between the Club and the community. Seeing players give their time,
engage with Ihe community and bring energy into our programmes continues lo make a real differell￿.
The continued growth of the Realising Potential programme has enabled more people with disabilities to access
opportunities, build self-confidenc8. and feel a genuine sense of belonging. This kind of real impact is exactly why the
Foundation was created.
The Nest is another example of what's possible when you ¢r&at& tho right environment. Wilh over 20,000 unique
Visttors this year, it's become far more than just a faality. It's a Pla￿ where people come IcyJelher, connections are
forrned. and opportunity lives. The ambition lo take it even furth9r is something I'm incredibly excited about.
But none of this happens without the collectNe effort behind it. Wrthoul our participants, partners, fijnders. volunteers.

Our objectives are to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial slalem8nts as a whole are free

from fraud or error and are considered material if. individually or in the aggregate, they could reasonably be
expected to influence the economic decisions of users taken on the basis of these financial stste￿￿nts.
Irregularities, including fraud. are instances of non•¢ompliance with laws and regulations. We deslgn procedures

including fraud. The @xtent to which our procedLtres are capable of detecting irregularities. induding fraud is

The audit procedures are designed so that with reasonable assurance. material misstatements can be detected,

Because of the inherent limitations of an audr(, there is a risk that we will not detect all irregularities, induding
those leading to 8 material misstatement in the financial statements or non-compliance wth regulation. This
risk int￿#$eS the more that compliance with a law or regulation is removed from the events and tra￿aCtIOnS
