Provided a playgroup for children where they are encouraged to learn through play while meeting Ofsted requirements. Provided a Covid Compliant Setting adhering to Government guidelines. Supported Families during the Pandemic by ensuring childcare provision for essential workers through the various lockdowns and regular remote contact with subsequently isolating families. Developed and grown the setting, increasing staffing and growing our team to meet increased demand. Recruited an excellent management team who are able to lead the staff from strength to strength, constantly innovating approaches to learning and trialling new activities with the children despite the many challenges of the last year.

Strengthened links with Coaley Primary School and the wider village community through a series of fundraising events including a pub quiz and raffle, Trick or Treat village trail for Halloween as a joint fundraiser for the school and playgroup with the support of the village pub and a massive remote raffle over last the last locked down Christmas. Redecorated the playgroup building and improved the outdoor area with the help of community volunteers. Continued to build the reputation of the playgroup to the extent that it is now a hugely popular choice of childcare provider within our area.
