**Objects:** FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE HIGHFIELD AREA OF LEICESTER AND IN PARTICULAR FOR THE BENEFIT OF THOSE INHABITANTS WHO ARE PRIMARILY ASIAN WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN (A) TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS PARTICULARLY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF INFORMATION, ADVICE AND COUNSELLING,  (B) TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TRAINING PARTICULARLY IN WAYS WHICH MAY ASSIST THOSE WHO ARE BEING EDUCATED AND TRAINED TO FIND EMPLOYMENT, (C) TO PROVIDE AND ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE OF THE SAID INHABITANTS

**Activities:** Shama provides a range of activities that empower women to become more active economically,educationally and socially  to develop their confidence, language, employablity, physical and mental well being. Includes accredited  training in IT, ESOL,Dressmaking, Counselling; holistic therapies, mentoring.On site Ofsted registered nursery. Women only sauna and gym.
