In addition to providing a place of worship for the Muslim community, the Society's objectives and activities include raising funds in order to aid general charitable purposes. This involves helping those poorer countries suffering in poverty and in need of aid and relief. The Society is also involved in providing education and training where most needed in the interest and development of the community. It also promotes sports and recreation facilities. The Society also works with the local authorities and other organisations with common views to the above services and facilities provided.
