||||||building<br>has a uniform<br>look.|

||||||now have the benefit ofsmall windows<br>at the|

|3.The Quantock<br>Room (smaller<br>meeting<br>room)||
|and kitchen flooring was replaced.||

|version; obscuring<br>plastic film was put on the||
|downstairs<br>storage room windows<br>which are||
|clear glass; the white lines on the steps leading||
|to the main entrance were repainted.||
|In the summer of2021, it was agreed that in||
|order to complete<br>all door and window||
|refurbishment,<br>the front door and Quantock||
|Room door and locks should be replaced.||
|(Aluminium<br>was chosen rather<br>LIPVC as it is||
|more durable for heavy usage areas. For||
|various reasons, the work was delayed<br>and will||
|be completed<br>in 2022.)||
|These works have ensured<br>that the premises||
|provide<br>an appealing<br>and safe place for ail||
|members<br>ofthe public who use the Hall.||
|During the second part of the year, once||
|bookings resumed<br>afler Covid lockdowns, as||
|well as regular use by the Pilates, Karate and||
|Toddler groups, the building<br>was also used for||
|s wedding<br>reception,<br>various parties and||
|meetings<br>and a 75e memorial<br>RAF gathering.||
|From April, cricket matches resumed,<br>with the||
|Hall providing<br>a base and changing<br>rooms for||
|the three village cricket teams, as well as||
|providing a paved terrace area for members|of|
|the community<br>to sit and watch matches.||
|Film Nights continued<br>to be popular and during||
|the second part ofthe year, eight films were||
|shown<br>with an average attendance<br>of45.The||
|evenings are overseen<br>by the trustees with the||
|support of local volunteers<br>who help with film||
|projection.<br>Films were shown on Sunday||
|evenings<br>for the benefit of people<br>living<br>in the||
|community<br>and the surrounding<br>villages,||
|providing<br>a social event with the opportunity|for|
|people to meet and chat as well as to enjoy the||
|film, accompanied<br>by ice-creams and drinks.||
|In November 2021 a new, much larger screen||
|was purchased<br>which has enhanced<br>the||
|viewing expenence<br>for our audiences||
|It is hoped that as Covid concerns reduce,||
|bookings<br>will rise and the Hall will be used at||
|pre-psndemic<br>levels again. To further promote||
|the Hall, two trustees are now able to update||
|the Hall website diary and upload<br>Film Night||
|information.<br>There is also a link to the village||
|Facebook page in order to notify local people||
|about what is going on.||
