The Trustees have pleasure in presenting their report and the financial statements of New Life in
Christ Ministries - North Yorkshire for the year ended 31 December 2024.
STRUCTURE GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Governing Document
The Charity registered wth the Charity Commission on 19 June 2001, under number 1087715. The
governing document of the Charity is the 'Declaration of Trusy adopted 19 June 2001.

Appointment of Trustees
The Trustees are also members of the Charity's management committee and are electedlre-elected
at an annual meeting in accordance with the Charity's governing documents.
Organisational structure
The Charity's management committee M￿tS at regular intervals and is responsible for the strategic
direction and policy of the Charity-
Additional governance issues
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the Charity is exposed and are satisfied those
systems are in place to mitigate exposure to the major risks.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Objective of the charity
New Life In Christ Ministries
North Yorkshire is a non4enominational, bible based, Christian
Church offering religious worship services. bible studies and other community activities on a weekly
basis.

Summary of main activities undertaken for the public benefit in relation to these objects:
We run ministries, teaching seminars and Bible study workshops for adults & children.
Making disciples and equipping our members for mission work.
We offer help & assistance to other charities in need who share similar objectives.
We are working towards having our own property for worship and community outreach.
Aim to increase the number of our church memtErs. enhance their spiritual wellbeing, and
inspire them to engage in community activities that promote stronger community.
The Trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty in section 17(5) of the 2011 Charities
Act to have due regard to the guidan￿ on public benefit published by the Commission in exercising
their powers or duties.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE
Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year:
Ongoing provision of professional training for the church musicians and worship team.
Regular leadership team meetings.
Presentation of quarterly financial reports to the leadership team.
Donations to Compassion UK and some local charitable causes.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial review
Tithed and offerings from our congregation members is our major Sour￿ of income, plus gift aid.
Income decreased by 3 % during the year to £50.700 (2023 - £52,699) and expenditure decreased
by 8 1 to £53,268 (2023 - £57.682) This resulted in net expenditure (before the purchase of fixed
assets) of £2,568 {2023- net expenditure £4,983.)
Reserves policy
It is the policy of the Charity that unrestricted funds which have not been designated for a specific
use should be maintained at a level equivalent to between three to six month's expenditure.
The charity held cash reserves at the year end equating to 9 months expenditure. The trustees
consider that reserves at this level will ensure that, in the event of a significant drop in funding, they
will be able to continue the Charity's cu￿ent activities while consideration is given to ways in which
additional funds may be raised.

STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES
The Trustees are responsible for preparing the Annual Report and the Financial Statements in
accordance with applicable law and regulations.
Law applicable to charrties in England & Wales requires the Trustees to prepare financial statements
for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the Charity's financial activities during the
year and of its financial position at the end of the year. In preparing these financial statements, the
Trustees are required to..
select suitable accounting policies and then apply them consistently.,
make judgements and estimates that are reasonable and prudent"
state whether applicable UK accounting standards and statements of recommended practice
have been followed, subject to any material departures disclosed and explained in the financial
statements.,
prepare the financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume
that the Charity will continue in operation.
The Trustees are responsible for keeping accounting records that disclose with reasonable accuracy
the financial position of the Charity and which enable them to ascertain the financial position of the
Charity and which enable them to ensure that the financial statements comply with applicable law,
regulations and trust deed. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and
hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.

INDEPENDENT EXAMINER'S REPORT TO THE TRUSTEES OF
NEW LIFE IN CHRIST MINISTRIES- NORTH YORKSHIRE
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of New Life In Christ Ministries - North
Yorkshire for the year ended 31 De￿mber 2024.
This report is made solely to the Charity's Trustees. as a body. in accordance with sects.on 154 of
the Charities Act 2011. My independent examination work has been undertaken so that I might state
to the Charity's Trustees those matters l am required to state to them in an Independent Examinels
Report and for no other purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I do not accept or assume
responsibility to anyone other than the Charity and the Charity's Trustees as a body, for my
independent examination work, for this report, or for the opinions I have fomied.
Responsibilities and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under section 145 of the
2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by
the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examinerfs statement
I have completed my examination. I confimi that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect..
1. accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
2. the accounts do not accord with those records.. or
3. the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements Con￿rning the form and content of
accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any
requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view which is not a matter considered as part of
an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to
which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the
accounts to be reached.

1. Basis of accounts
The trustees have taken advantage of section 144 {2) of the Charities Act 2011 and have
prepared accounts on a receipts and payments basis. Cash-based accounts are not prepared on
an accruals basis and therefore the Charities SORP does not apply to their preparation.
2. Trustees. remuneration and expenses
During the year £13,200 was paid to V Roosevelt for ServI￿S rendered (2023:£13,200.) but no
payment was made in respect of his role as Trustee. No expenses were paid in respect of
Trustees (2023 - nil)
3. Related party transactions
There were no related party transactions in the year (2023 - none)
