As described on the statement of financial position, the Board of Directors of Filwood Playing Field Trust are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements for the year ended 31 July 2023, which comprise the income statement and statement of financial position.
You consider that the company is exempt from an audit under the Companies Act 2006.

1 General information
2 Average number of employees
The average number of persons employed by the company during the year was Nil (2022: Nil).
For the year ending 31 July 2023, the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
Director’s responsibilities:

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476;

The director acknowledges their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

Responsibilities and basis of report
I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/07/2023.
As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent examiner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination.
