To advance the Christian religion by providing financial support to
train and educate in bible teaching skills Christian workers who
are or will be involved in Christian ministry with students in
Europe and the former Soviet Union.

The prlncipal activity of the foundation this year has been to
provide financial support to the work of Graduate Impact-
particularly towards the travel and accommodation costs of IFES
staff, students and graduates attending events and conferences.

The Trustees confimi that they have referred to the guidance
contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on
public benefit then reviewng the Trust's aims and objectives and
in planning future activities and setting the grant making policy for
the year.
The Ditch Foundation makes grants to organisations and
individuals known to the trustees to facilitate our charltable
objects. No grants are mad8 In response to unsolicited
applications and our funds are fully committed for the foreseeable
future.

During 2023, the trust continued to support the minislry of IFES
Graduate Impact in mentoring young Christian adults during the
formative years of their professional life.
Our grants to IFES Graduate Impact have helped provide
invaluable support to young Christian adults in the early years of
working life in more than 25 countries across Europe and
Eurasia.
We have also 5UPPOrted the translation of Cross-current
resource5 into Spanish. French, and Portuguese, and we have
supported the launch of an e-Learning course on Christianity and
the environment.

The Irustees aim to hold beknen 6 and 12 months of funds in
reserve based on the normal requirements of the work supported
through IFES Graduate Impact.

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of The Ditch Foundation {'the Charity,)
for the year ended 31 December 2023, which are set out on pages I to 5.
Responsibilitles and basis of report
As the charity trustees of the Charity you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance
with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 ('the Act,)
I report in respect of my examination of the Charity's accounts carried out under section 145 of the Act. In
carrying out my examination I have followed all applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(5){b) of the 2011 Act.
Independent examlner's statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in
connection with the examination giving me cause o believe that in any material respect:
{1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the Charity as required by section 130 of the Act; or
12) the accounts do not accord with those records.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters In connection with the examination to which
attention should be drawn in thls report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be
reached.
