Because of the Inherent Ilmilatlons of an audit, there Is a risk that we will not detect all Irregularllles,
Including those leading to a material misslalement in the financlal statements or non-compliance with
regulation. Thls risk increases the more that compllance with a law or regulatlon is removed from the
events and transactions reflected In the financlal statements, as we wlll be less likely to become
aware of instances of non-compliance. The rlsk of not d8lectlng a materlal mi55tatemenl resulting
from fraud is higher than for one resulting from error, a5 Iraud may Involve colluslon, forgery,
Inlenllonal omissions, misrepresentations, or the override of internal control.
