Plymouth and District Disabled Fellowship Ltd Trustees. Report Risk Management The trustee5 have a risk management strategy which comprises., A regular review of the risks that the charity may face; The establishment of systems and procedures to mitigate those risks identified in the plan. and The implementation of procedures designed to minimise any potential impact on the charity should those risks materialise. A key element in the management of financial risk is the setting of a reserves policy and its regular review by trustees. Flnanclal Revlew During the year the entity suffered a deficit before gains and losses on investments of £64,070 (2024: £67,760). Investments generated alIsed and unrealised losses of £19,576 (2024.. £53,047 gain). This resulted in an overall reduction in funds forthe year of £83,646 (2024.. £14,713 decrease). Reserve8 poIIcy The trustees conslder the existing level of reserves £621,608 (2024.. £705,254) to be adequate to ensure the continued operation of the Fellowship. Of the reserves £604,259 relates to investments held. Therefore there are free reserves of £17,349. Based on the currenl y8ars expenditure levels, this would cover 2 months of expenditure should no income be received due lo unforeseen circumstances.
