Independent Examiner: you consider that the audit requirement of section 43(2) of the Charities Act 1993 (the Act) does not apply. It is my responsibility to: . examine the accounts under section 43 of the 1993 Act, . to follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 43(7)(b) of the 1993 Act, and

Basis of Independent Examiner's Report: My examination was carried out in accordance with the General Directions given by the Charity Commissioners. Such an examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity, and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeking explanations from you as trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

Independent Examiner's statement: In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention (1) Which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:(a) to keep accounting records in accordance with section 41 of the Act: and (b) to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and to comply with the accounting requirements of the Act have not been met;

Risk Assessment Statement by The Charity's Trustees
The potential major risks to which the charity is exposed, as identified by the trustees, have been reviewed and systems have been established to mitigate those risks.
The trustees regularly review the risk register and grade the risks according to their impact and likelyhood. All identified risks have actions assigned to trustees to mitigate the likelyhood and once reviewed each risk is then given a review date in the future to ensure they are regularly addressed.

Activities and Achievements
Activities and achievements of the charity during the year in relation to the objects:
The financial results are set out on pages 1 through 2 above.
The trustees confirm that they have referred to the guidance contained in the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing the Trust's aims and objectives and in planning future objectives. The objects of the charity are the advancement of religion, education and the relief of poverty. East West Ministries is a UK-based Christian missions agency working relationally with national church leaders in Eastern Europe and the Middle East, growing from a foundation established by Ron Hibbert in 1972. The charity receives funding from individuals and churches within the UK and USA to help financially support these national church leaders as part of missionary and outreach work.
The charity has no specific reserves policy in place. The unrestricted funds represents a small percentage of donations to cover the administration costs of the charity which are clearly laid in the Income and Expenditure report. Restricted funds are identified by the donor as specific funds for a beneficiary. The charity keeps a record of all funds received to ensure there is clear traceability from funder to beneficiary and ensuring the restricted funds are distributed in accordance with the funder's intentions.
Despite the ongoing geopolitical events,we have been able to maintain our support to our core missionaries, churches and national workers, thanks to the faithfulness of our supporters. Donations this year have increased by £4,997. The charity has a core base of regular support, during this financial period there were one-off missional gifts which supports the additional donations over and above the previous financial period.
