Activities

Sedbergh Town Band enables people of diverse backgrounds, ages and musical ability, living in rural communities, to learn to play brass instruments and experience the achievement and comradeship from playing in a band. Public performances provide live music to audiences, which otherwise would not have such an opportunity.

Objects: To Promote, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In, And Appreciation Of The Art And Science Of Brass Band Music In All Its Aspects By The Presentation Of Public Performances Along With Other Aspects Of Banding And For The General Purposes Of Such Charitable Bodies Or For Such Other Purposes As Shall Be Exclusively Charitable As The Committee Shall From Time To Time Determine.
