**Objects:** TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF A SWIMMING POOL FOR THE INHABITANTS OF THE DISTRICT OF LEWES FOR RECREATIONAL AND OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION IN THE INTERESTS OF THEIR SOCIAL WELFARE WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE..

**Activities:** PPCA manages the Pells open-air swimming pool in Lewes on behalf of the community; the oldest, public, open-air, freshwater swimming pool in continuous use in the UK . Built in 1860, the pool opens from late April to late November  and measures 25 x 50 yards. It is much appreciated and well supported by the community. The charity  raises funds to renovate and improve pool equipment and facilities.
