The Group enjoyed a hugely successful Family Camp in June/July this year. The hall is used in addition to the Scout Group by a range of other activities from a Toddler Group to the Youth Club, achieving an income of £8787.50 this year. Our annual recruitment drive continues to provide new committee members and embraces the fresh faces and ideas they bring to the Group’s executive management. This is an important achievement as the group continues to depend on the good will, voluntary efforts and support of leaders, committee members and parents in order to function. All volunteers are openly acknowledged and thanked for their contribution at our Annual General Meeting. The Group is a trust established under its rules, which are common to all Groups/Districts. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the Policy, Organisation & Rules of The Scout Association The accounts have been drawn up on the receipts and payments basis which is consistent with the previous year.
