Tl)e trustees present their report with the finai)cial statements of the charity for the year ended 30 June 2026. The
trustees have adopted the provisions of Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Stateinent of Recommended Practice
applicgble to charities preparing iheir accounts in accordance ￿1th the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the
UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019}.
OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The trustees confirm that they have considered the guidance contained in the Chariij Commission's general guidance on

its public benefit
responsibilities by making grants 10 individuals and institutions in support of theatrical
educational and local

Grantmaking
The trustees adopt a proactive approach in seeking worthy causes requiring support.
ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMAf4CE
Charitable activities
During the year, the trust¢es have allocgted funds to financially support th¢ theatre, medical facilities, educaiion and
various local communitv initiatives.
Fundraising a£tLvilies
The trust is funded principallv by gifts from the founder. Additionally income generated from investii)g the funds are
Used to furtlier the charity's objectives.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
Financial position
During the year under review expended resources exceeded incoming resources by £18,550 (2025.. £46,758). At the end
of the year the trust retained liquid unrestricted as5et5 of £244,175 (2025.. £262,725) and quoted investmeiits with a
market value of £3,006,298 {2025.. £2,308,541)-
Principal funding sources
Thc Principal %ourcc of funds is investsnent income generated from the trust's substsntial inv¢stm¢nt base.
Investment policy and objectives
In order to maintain a prudent and responsible investment policy and in view of the volatility in Ihe investment markets
the trust's investments have been split between mai)aged cash funds, bonds and UK equities.
Reselwes poliey
The trustees have sought to balance grants paid with investment income generated and to maintain the capital base to
geiierate a stead), income stream. Applications for grants are considered on a regular basis and the trnstees decide on
awards where the criieria meet the objectives of the trust.
FUTURE PLANS
The trust plans to continue the activities outlined aLx)ve in the forthcoming years.

Governing docurnent
The Charity is controlled by its governing documenL a deed of trust and constitutes an unincorporaied charity.
Tlie Trust 15 an incorporated trust, COl15tituted under a trust deed dated l March 2001 as aineiided by later deeds of
amendment the latest of which was dated S August 2011. The trust is a registered charity. The Charitable trust wliich ￿aS
established by an initial gift from S. K. M. Williams h&s as its objeciives ihe support education and training, the
advai)cement of medicii)e and general charitable purposes.

STRUCTURE, GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
Recruitrnent and appointment of new trustees
Trusiees will be appointed by the existing trustees and retiring trustees maybe re-elected. A maximum number of 8
tnjstees may be appointed.
S K M Williams was appOin￿d chairman of the trustees for life on 16 October 2011.
H A Williams is a trustee for life.
A M Willianis and M T M Willianis were appointed for a furtl)er temi of 3 vears in October 2025. 0 G Williams aiid M
A Willian)s were appointed as lie￿." trustees for a term of three years on 27 October 2025
O G Williams resigned as a trustee on I lth August 2026.
Organisational strueture
The trust 15 maiiagFed by the trustees who meet regularly to agree the consideration of grant ￿￿king, investtnent, reserve5
and risk management policies and performance.
Induction and training of new trustees
The inductioii process for any newly appointed trustee compris¢s an initial meeting with all existing trnstees. In addition
the appointed trusiee will be provided with a copy of the Charity's Commission guidance 'The Esseniial Trustee.. What
you need to know,, a copy of the Charity's trust deed and a copy of the latest annual report aiid accounts.

As the chariry trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the prepargtion of the accounts in accordance with the

I repon in respect L)f my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out under Section 145 of the Act and in carrying out

ACCOUNTING POLICIES
Basis of preparing the financial statements
The financial siaiements of the charitv. which is a public benefit entiry under FRS 102. have been prepared in
accoTdance with the Charities SORP IFRS 102} 'Accounting and Reporting by Charities.. Statement of
Recommended Practice applicable to chgrities preparing their accounts in accordance ￿'1th the Finan¢ial
Reporting Sthndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective l January 2019),,
Financial Reportiiig Standaid 102 'The FinaiiLial Reportiiig Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of
Irelaiid, and the Charities Act 2011. The financial statcment% have been PTcpared under the historical cost
convention, M'ith the exception of investments which are included at market value, as modified by the revaluation
of certain assets.
Income

is probable that the income will be received and the aniount caii be measured reliably.
Expenditure
Liabilities are recognised as expenditure as soon as ihere is a legal or construciive obligation committing the
charity to ihat expenditure, it is probable that a iransfer of economic benefits will be required in setilement and
the amount of the obliuation cali be niea5ured reliably. Expenditure is accounted for 011 an accrua15 basis and ha5
been classified under lieadings that aggreggte all cost related to the category. Where costs cannot be directly
atiributed to particular headings they have been allocated 10 aciivities on a basis consistent with the use of
resoiirces.
Grants offered subject to conditions which have noi been met at the year end date are noted as a commitmeni but
not accrued as expenditure.
Alloeation and apportionment of costs
Resources expended are allocated directly to the ￿nd to which they relate.
Taxation
The charity is exempt from tax on its charitable activities.
Fund aceounting
Unrestricted funds can be used in accordance wilh the charitable objectives at the dis¢retion of the trustees.
Restricted funds can only be used for particular restricted purposes within the objects of the charity. Restrictions
arise when specified by the donor or when ￿ndS are raised for particular restricted PUTposes.
The endowment fund is restricted in that the funds were provided to provide a capital base in order to generate
an iiicoine to make grants in the COUTse of the charity's activities. The endo￿n£￿t 15 however expendable at the
discretion of the trustees.

Fixed &sset invesiments are stated at markei value on the balance sheet. Any gains L)r losses arising on
revaluation are included in the stateinent of financial resources.

We confirm that the following information in connection with the financial statements for the
year ended 30 June 2026 is, to the best of our knowledge and belief, true and fair, bearing in
mind the requirements ofthe Charities Act 2011 and the Charities SORP IFRS 102).
1. General
To the best of our knowledge and belief all transactions undertaken by the Trust have been
properly recorded in the accounting records and these financial statements and all relevant
records have been given to you.
2. Accounting Policies
The accounting policies used are detailed in the financial statements and are consistent with
those adopted in the previous financial statements.
3. Statement of Financial Activities
Except as disclosed in the financial statements, the results for the year were not materially
affected by..
{a) transactions of a sort not usually undertaken by the Trust,
{b) circumstances of an exceptional or non-recurrent nature,
{c) charges or credits relating to prior periods or
(d) any change in the basis of accounting.
Any expenditure included in the financial statements (where receipts or vouchers were not
available) was properly made in connection with the Trust's charitable activities, unless
specifically notified lo you as being of a private nature.
4. Debtors
Balances included in the financial statements are all valid debtors or prepayments. The bad
debts written off are complete as far as the trustees are aware and full provision has been
made against specrfic debts which are known or may be expected to be irrecoverable.
S. Other Current Assets
In our opinion, other current assets are expected to realise in the ordinary course of business
at least the amounts at which they are stated in the Trust's Balance Sheet.
6. Liabilities
All known liabilities of material amount at the year end are shown in the financial statements
including the liability for all purchases to which title has passed prior to the year end.
7. Capital Commitments
At the year end there were no commitments for capital expenditure.
8. Contingent Liabilities

No contingent liabilities existed at the year end, other than any grant commitments disclosed in
the financial statements which are subject to conditions not yet met.
All contingent liabilities are shown in Note to the financial statements.
9. Post Balance Sheet Events
All post Balance Sheet events have been shown in Note to the financial statements.
10. Going Concern
In our opinion, the Trust will have adequate resources available to finance its charitable
activilies and other obligations during the course of the twelve months from the date of this
letter.
11. Law and Regulations
We confimi that the Trust has complied with all law and regulations relevant to its charitable
activities during the year under review, including the requirements of the Charities Act 2011
and the Trust's governing document, and that we have made available all relevant information
necessary for the purposes of the independent examination.
