**Objects:** (I) TO PRESERVE, CONSERVE AND ENCOURAGE RESTORATION OF THE BUDE CANAL WHERE POSSIBLE AND TO PROMOTE AND STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND THE FULLEST APPROPRIATE USE BY THE PUBLIC OF THE CANAL AND ITS ENVIRONS.(II) TO ADVANCE PUBLIC EDUCATION IN THE HISTORY AND FORMER USE OF THE BUDE CANAL AND IN ASSOCIATED WILDLIFE OF CANALS AND INLAND WATERWAYS GENERALLY.

**Activities:** The society holds various events for members and the public and attends public events with its trade & display stalls. Details of these are included in the quarterly news letter & the section of the societies web site.
