**Objects:** THE RELIEF OF SUFFERING AND DISTRESS IN PARTICULAR OF MEN WHO HAVE BEEN SEXUALLY ABUSED OR RAPED THROUGH THE PROVISION OF A COUNSELLING SERVICE, HELPLINES, DROP IN CENTRES AND OTHER SERVICES AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF EDUCATION IN THE EFFECTS AND INCIDENCE OF MALE SEXUAL ABUSE IN PARTICULAR THROUGH RESEARCH AND THE PUBLICATION OF THE RESULTS OF THAT RESEARCH
