Introduction
The King Georges Fields Trust has been in operation since 2019 as a separate trust following advice from the auditors of the Aldenham Parish Council (APC) after a substantial payment was received for a installation of a telecommunications mast on the field known as the ‘second pitch’ on the King George V Playing Fields.
The sole trustees of the trust is APC, so automatically the councillors are trustee representatives whilst they remain a councillor. There is a ‘MOU’ with APC whose staff maintain the land.
