President's Notes for AGM 2026
- 1) The nursery continues successfully and is a bread and butter earner.
2) I'm afraid that a very poor quality lean-to was erected at the rear of the Parish Rooms. It was removed and a new one installed by Andy's son who made a very good job of it. Thank you to both of them.
-
3) Wednesday afternoon Bingo is still a brilliant success and well run and well attended thanks to Debbie's brilliant and enthusiastic good organisation and Andy and Christine's magnificent support.
-
4) The largest item on our agenda currently is to discuss the possibility of combining with the the Borough Council and Football and Cricket clubs towards the possibility of adapting the Manor Ground Cricket Pavilion as a future Community Centre.
5) My warm thanks go to all the committee members who have supported the B.C.A. over the last 12 months and my sincere appreciation for their renewed commitment to a further year on the committee.
And lastly,
Welcome to our new committee members who have
volunteered to give us and Broadwater their support in the months ahead.
