Support for individuals GRRS mission is to reach out to the poorest, support spiritual needs through training and building programmes and support medical facilities and education. Special requests from or on behalf of individuals for funding are considered carefully and the following are examples of those that have been agreed: C: has b￿n receiving support for hospital treatment for a serious skin problem. Her treatment stopped during the pandemic but we pray that it will continue again soon. is a young re￿ntlY married man with a baby who is a devout Christian and keeps in regular contact with us. Generous donors will be funding part of this alongside GRR and payments will be made in instalments over the 2 year course. Examples of other funding decisions Electricity supply to various parishes. There is always an extra benefit in that once the ssupply is installed nearby houses are also able to connect at a cost their owners can afford. Hanika Health Centre for new equipment to repla￿ rusty and damaged items. Shyogwe pastorfs house which is still being restored. Young single mothers who have been subject to exploitation, rape and abuse (Teen Mothers Association) vocational training equipment n￿ded for tailoring to provide them with a means of support for themselves and their children in Hanika with the support and co-operation of local government authorities which hve guaranteed the funding to enable those who complete the training to go on to recognised vocational training centres to complete fonnal qualifications. Financial Review Review of the charity's financial position at the end of the eriod ststement explaining the policy for holding reserves stating why they are held P8ra 1.21 Giving post-pandemlc has continued to decline and reserves are being used to maintain charitable activities as before. Money is spent as the trustees decide it is most needed and prioritised against specific requests. The trustees are keen to balance income and expenditure each year but levels of income are lower following the pandemic and the impact of inflation on the cost of living in the UK continues to affect donatlons, so they continue to hold reserves to enable them to glve more than the Trust receives, at least for anther ear.
