The promotion of play opportunities and facilities for children in the London Borough of Islington: awareness of the importance of children's play, provides support to voluntary sector children's play, youth and childcare services, assists in the provision of training, helping groups consult, plan and design services, fund raise and recruit staff.

Objects: 3.1.1 To Advance The Education Of Children And Young Adults In Islington And The Surrounding Area By Offering Appropriate Play And Learning Facilities In Particular By, But Not Limited To:(a)offering The Opportunity To Parents And Carers To Take Responsibility For And To Become Involved In The Activities Of The Provision Of Recreational Opportunities And Facilities; (B)providing Classes In Parenting Skills; (C)providing Or Assisting In The Provision Of Facilities For Recreation And Other Leisure-Time Occupation For Children And Young Adults And For Their Parents/carers, Childminders, Midwives And Other Child-Care Professionals In Islington And The Surrounding Area Being Facilities Of Which Such Children And Other Persons Have Need By Reason Of Their Youth, Social And Economic Circumstances And Which Will Improve The Conditions Of Life For Such Children And Other Persons;(d)providing Child And Youth Centred Community Development;(e)assisting Young People Especially But Not Exclusively Through Leisure Activities And Organising Programmes Of Other Activities So As To Develop Their Capabilities3.1.2 To Relieve Poverty By, But Not Limited To, The Provision Of Facilities And Services To Assist Young Adults And Parents And Carers To Obtain Advice And Assistance
