Section D Achievements and performance

## **Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the year**

Earlier this year the charity celebrated reaching a milestone – it has been running for 20 years.

Donation receipts collected were amazingly high considering the affect that the Covid19 pandemic has had on all aspects of our lives. Several large fundraising events were in progress at the end of last year but we still had many small donations during the year.

Obviously, the income from the shop was affected and it was not possible to open the community centre most of the year. Running costs such as rent, light & heat etc still had to be paid but we received grants from the Borough of Pendle totalling £11,334.00 which greatly helped.

We did help 21 cancer sufferers financially this year.

The Community Centre is now refurbished and we hope to use it fully sometime next year.
