|**Summary of the main**<br>**actvites in relaton to the**<br>**purposes for the public**<br>**beneft, in partcular the**<br>**actvites, projects or**<br>**services identfed in the**<br>**accounts**|**Community Centre**<br><br>**Community Café**ofering low-cost healthy meals with a 'pay as you like'<br>opton to help relieve food deprivaton and isolaton. This is open to<br>anyone but primarily it is used by the elderly, unemployed, disabled, and<br>migrant communites. We further ofer a 10-unit computer suite and<br>telephone systems to help the community access support or signposted<br>agencies such as the job centre, doctors, social and welfare services.<br><br>**Volunteer Program**. We run a volunteer program enabling members of<br>our community to serve the community in which they live. This teaches<br>life skills and ofers training opportunites to the long term unemployed<br>as well as giving local pensioners, those who are disabled and those not<br>in  work  an  opportunity  to  serve  the  community  they  live  in.  Our<br>volunteers help run all our actvites, thereby enabling our objectve.<br>**Essental Furniture & Swap Shop**<br><br>We run a ‘not for proft’ community enterprise that collects, donates and<br>redistributes recycled furniture. This is strictly on “donatons only” basis.<br>It is run by our Furniture Manager who gets 70% of furniture/swap shop<br>income reimbursement.<br><br>The  essental  furniture  and  swap  shop  enables  people  who  are  in<br>situatons of great need such as refugees, victms of domestc violence,<br>families on low incomes and many others to receive essental items of<br>furniture. We have a referral system enabling us to donate to people in<br>need. We also encourage those in need to alleviate their poverty by<br>giving volunteer hours or swapping something not essental for them for<br>something  they  consider  essental.  This  profoundly  breaks  cycles  of<br>deprivaton,  providing  essental  house  hold  furniture,  reducing  debt<br>while creatng a sense of personal contributon, investment, and self-<br>worth.<br>**Elderly Club**<br><br>Our elderly group meet weekly to build relatonships, overcome isolaton<br>and improve life quality physically and mentally. We provide a varied<br>weekly programme of actvites and provide transport for those who<br>struggle to walk. We have provided 6-day trips, a couple of events,<br>provided 2-course meals each Friday lunch, and given out up to 60<br>seasonal food parcels at Harvest and Christmas.<br>**Community Events**<br><br>We had our usual full day Christmas extravaganza were children and<br>families could visit Santa and obtain lots of stockingfllers andpresents|

This is a fundraising event to raise funds to<br>purchase some Christmas goodies for up to 60 elderly residents in our<br>community.<br>**Community Garden**<br><br>The Community Garden and Seed to Supper project serves to break food<br>poverty  and  encourage  healthy  eatng  while  teaching  new  skills.  It<br>provides a space for community vegetable growing for children, young<br>people, adults from diferent backgrounds and the elderly reducing food<br>poverty, teaching citzenship skills and social inclusion.<br><br>**EB Samaritan’s Purse (Good Neighbour Fund)**<br>We ofer emergency fnancial and food help to those in extreme difculty<br>or  hardship  i.e.,  house  fre,  escaping  domestc  violence,  burglary.<br>Reducingcycles of fnancialpoverty.|

|Summary of the main<br>achievements of the<br>charity during the year.|The  charity  has  consistently  provided  services  and  actvites  that  support<br>residents in the estates of north Hull. Each week, it has worked with a diverse<br>range of people, including the elderly, families facing poverty, the long-term<br>unemployed, asylum seekers, refugees, homeless individuals, ex-ofenders, and<br>those dealing with addicton or mental health challenges.<br>This support has been delivered through several highly efectve initatves. We<br>run a popular over-60s club, assistng over 50 people, as well as the Happy<br>Women’s Club, which focuses on mental health, employability and language<br>classes.  We  operate  a  drop-in  café  and  community  kitchen  and  provide<br>employment training. We also manage a furniture and swap shop enterprise for<br>those in need. The garden contnues to provide fresh produce, which is used by<br>the community.<br>We successfully organised and delivered a series of Family Fun Nights during the<br>summer, featuring actvites such as a bouncy castle, barbeque, sports, and<br>karaoke. These events were designed to foster community engagement and<br>strengthen social connectons among local residents.<br>Our  Christmas  Extravaganza  was  another  major  success,  drawing  a  large<br>atendance. The food larder contnues to operate three days a week, and over<br>the past year, we have seen a growing number of families and individuals relying<br>on our services.|

I report to the charity trustees on my examination of the accounts of the Company for the year ended **31 / 03 /2025** . **Responsibilities and** As the charity’s trustees of the Company (who are also the directors of the **basis of report** company for the purposes of company law), you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 (“the 2006 Act”). Having satisfied myself that the accounts of the Company are not required to be audited for this year under Part 16 of the 2006 Act and are eligible for independent examination, I report in respect of my examination of your charity’s accounts as carried out under section 145 of the Charities Act 2011 (“the 2011 Act”).  In carrying out my examination, I have followed the Directions given by the Charity Commission (under section 145(5)(b) of the 2011 Act.. 

**Independent** I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have **examiner's statement** come to my attention which gives me cause to believe that: • accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 386 of the Companies Act 2006; or • the accounts do not accord with such records; or • the accounts do not comply with relevant accounting requirements under section 396 of the Companies Act 2006 other than any requirement that the accounts give a ‘true and fair’ view which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination; or •the accounts have not been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS102). 

I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
