The Birchmeadow Centre is a large community and meetings facility, sitting at the top of Birchmeadow Park in Broseley. The building is owned by Broseley Town Council and managed by the Birchmeadow Centre Management Committee of which all members are trustees of the Charity. The aim of the Charity is to promote Arts, Youth and Sports in Shropshire (Broseley, Telford & Wrekin areas).
Activities such as Yoga, Exercise Classes Youth Group Activities, Cinema, Camera Club, Dance, Acting and Singing classes, Healthy Friendships and Memory and Respite Groups and various children's activities are now regular features at the Centre. Colleges also hire the facilities to run various courses.
International, UK and Local musicians, Broseley Amateur Dramatic (BroADS) as well as visiting AM dram Societies perform at the Centre on a regular basis.
The Centre offers several sized rooms for different kinds of functions and a well-appointed kitchen and an attractive bar area which overlooks the park. The Centre has parking for several cars both to the front and rear of the building.
In addition, the Centre offers users access to a range of theatrical lighting, audio, visual and computer equipment for use in running presentations, teaching and training.
