Botley Choral Society, formed in 1923 serves the interests of residents in Botley and Districts in Hampshire. The typical membership is about 112. It's raison d'etre is to train members in classical and contemporary choral music, performing several concert programmes open to the public, annually.The Society is a member of the National Federation of Music Societies.
Objects: To Promote, Improve, Develop And Maintain Public Education In And Appreciation Of The Art And Science Of Choral Music In All Its Aspects By The Presentation Of Public Concerts And Recitals And For The General Purposes Of Such Charitable Bodies Of For Such Other Purposes As Shall Be Exclusively Charitable As The Society Through Its Committee Shall Determine From Time To Time.
