Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporling Standard applicable in the UK and R¢publir of Ir¢land (FRS 102) (effectiv¢ l January 2019). The Trustees who served during the year and up to the date of ihis report are sel out on page l. Structure overnance and mana ement Governing document The orbyanisation is gyoverned by its constitution which was adopted on 2nd April 2000. as amended on 29th June 2000. The organisation registered as a charity on l March 2001. Thc charity also ¢arri¢5 out its aclivitics undcr thc stylc of Islamic Dawah Centre (IDC). Recruilmenl nnd fippointmenl of Truslees The Trustees hold a wide ran&7e of skills and experience essential to the development and &yood byovernance of the charity. In the period ¢ov¢red by this report, no new Tru51¢es were appointed. The Trustees look to grow and stren&vthen the Board in the coming years in concert with the evolving governance and stralcgie needs of th¢ charity. Current Tru5tecs can appoint a n¢w member to the cliarity by ordinary resolution with a simple majority. The maximum number of Trustees of the charity is nol limited. In recruiting new Trustees the currenl full Board fulfils the role of a nomination committee. No plans are in plac¢ to recruit further TNsle¢s at tliis point in time. Trustee induction and iraining An induction probyrainme tailored to the knowledge and experience of new recrnits is laid on al the charity's premises for new Trustees.
