In preparing the Financial Statements, the Trustees are required to select suitable accounting policies and apply them on a consistent basis making Judgments and estimates that are prudent and reasonable. The Trustees are also responsible for maintaining adequate accounting records, for safeguarding the assets of the Charity and for preventing and detecting fraud and othe Irregularities. It also Includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures In the accounts, and seeking explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
